History helps you recover recent copies. Snippets and favorites keep reusable items. Organize in the main window, retrieve in the quick panel, and paste in your destination app.
Save supported clipboard changes after enabling recording and allowing system access. Files are stored as references; originals are neither copied nor deleted.
Filter by content type and search with multiple keywords. Review text, images, or files before choosing to copy.
Create text, image, and file snippets. Snippets and favorites have separate groups and drag orders, with a reset to default order; removing a group only removes its classification.
Copy the original, plain text, text without line breaks, or text without spaces. Then return to the destination app and press ⌘V yourself.
Open from the menu bar or an optional shortcut. Switch between Clipboard, Snippets, and Favorites, and press Esc to hide.
Recording starts off. Pause it, set ordinary-history limits, or clear ordinary history while retaining favorites and snippets.
The clipboard area places the item list beside its preview. Narrow it by type, then search content or source with multiple keywords. Select an item to check its contents and available actions on the right.
Retrieve text, a link, or a recently copied image without pasting every entry to find it. File items retain references to originals. Screenshots use demonstration data rather than a private clipboard. After selecting an item, you can also press ⌘C to copy it, then paste it yourself in the destination app.
Before placing a passage in an email or document, review it in history and choose ordinary copy, plain text, remove line breaks, or remove spaces. Ordinary copy can preserve formats supplied by the source; the other three produce plain text for the destination’s own formatting.
Remove line breaks when copied material has unwanted wrapping. Remove spaces strips regular, full-width, and nonbreaking spaces plus tabs while retaining line breaks. These serve different purposes: check code, tables, and aligned text carefully. Pressing ⌘C on a selected item performs ordinary copy; choose a specific action for transformations, then paste with ⌘V and review the result.
The snippets page pairs its item list with a content preview. Give reusable text, images, or files a title, organize them by group, and copy the item when needed.
Make separate entries for recurring replies, project notes, or materials. Edit titles and contents as they change. Groups organize items; deleting a group only removes the grouping, not its contents. Hold an item and drag it, using the lifted capsule and insertion line to choose its position. Snippet and favorite orders are saved separately and shared by the main window and both quick-panel layouts. Dropping outside cancels; double-click copying remains available.
Add a history item to favorites when it deserves to stay. Starred items can be found with search, type, and group filters. Check the selected item in the preview before copying it.
Manage temporary history separately from content you reuse. Ordinary history limits and clearing retain favorites; favorites and snippets also have separate groups. Favorite order is saved separately from snippets. Drag to arrange items, or use Restore Default Order to return to most-recently-used order. Resetting preserves content, groups, and preferences.
The horizontal panel puts Clipboard, Snippets, and Favorites at the top and presents filtered results as a row of cards. Click an item’s copy button, then press ⌘V in your destination app.
Choose horizontal or vertical layout, with positions remembered separately. Open from the menu bar or a configured shortcut. Hide with Esc, or enable hiding after copying to make room for your work.
Use the vertical quick panel when a document or conversation needs more horizontal space. Choose Clipboard, Snippets, or Favorites, search and review the cards, then copy the selected item and return to the original app.
Vertical and horizontal layouts remember their positions separately. Drag the empty top area to a convenient place. Clicking another app leaves the panel available for repeated use; press Esc, use the close button, or enable hide-after-copy when you want the space back. Shortcuts are optional, and using the panel does not require double-modifier monitoring.
Check system access in app settings before deciding to enable recording. Ordinary history defaults to 200 items and 30 days. Count and age limits take effect on the next capture.
Pause recording while working with content you do not want retained, then enable it again when appropriate. Manage favorites and snippets separately. Clearing ordinary history does not delete original files; the library stays local.
Choose Export Data at the bottom of Settings to save current items, groups, and both saved orders as JSON. To import, select a compatible archive, review its item count, and confirm the merge.
Import retains existing items, groups, orders, and settings, skipping recognized duplicates. New items retain their archive groups and relative order. Exports exclude app preferences, file-access grants, and original files; file references may need to be selected again for access.
On the Language page, follow the system or choose one of 12 interface languages. Original text in history, snippets, and favorites stays intact, so the same library remains usable across interface languages.
The selection changes interface labels, without translating item bodies, rearranging groups, or replacing content. Give reusable snippets clear titles, organize them by purpose, and drag them into your preferred order. The main window and both quick-panel layouts use that same saved order.
Enable recording after macOS allows clipboard access. On macOS 15.4 and later, continuous recording requires the system to allow ongoing access.
Copy content in another app, then search and preview it in SparkleCopy. Add favorites, groups, or snippets as needed.
Open the panel from the menu bar or your configured shortcut, copy an item, then return to the destination app and press ⌘V. After selecting an item, you can also press ⌘C to copy it, then paste it yourself in the destination app.
Some content was copied a moment ago; some is needed every day. Separate history, snippets and favorites make it easier to find and copy the right item again.
A few things before you begin
Mac App Store distribution is being prepared. There is no public download yet. The current version is a 1.0.0 development preview; store links, pricing and dates will be confirmed at release.
Recording starts off. Once enabled, capture still depends on system permission and supported types. Sensitive or transient markers are skipped, but unmarked passwords or private content cannot all be identified. Pause recording as needed.
Global double-press Command or Option shortcuts may need Input Monitoring to detect modifier states. Ordinary combination shortcuts do not depend on that permission. It is not used to record typed text.
File items store references and read-only access bookmarks. Originals stay in place. Clearing history does not delete them; moving files or revoking access can break references and require selecting the file again.
No. Ordinary-history cleanup retains favorites and snippets, which can be managed separately. History is not a backup, and the library should not be treated as a password vault.
The current app does not type into other apps and has no iCloud sync, account, telemetry, or in-app automatic updater. Its local JSON library does not provide app-managed library encryption.
This website provides dedicated privacy, terms, and license documents. The corresponding button in the current app is configured to open this product’s website documents in the system browser.
Removing line breaks removes newlines. Removing spaces removes ordinary spaces, full-width spaces, non-breaking spaces, and tabs while retaining line breaks. Choose the suitable action, then paste in the destination app to check the result.
The panel writes the selected content to the clipboard; you press ⌘V in the destination app to paste. Clicking outside does not hide it. Use Esc or the close button, or enable hiding after copying in settings.
Use Restore Default Order on that page or in the quick panel to restore most-recently-used order for that category. Snippets and favorites retain separate orders. Resetting deletes no content and leaves the other category and preferences unchanged.
Imports merge into the existing library, preserving current content and settings and skipping recognized duplicates. JSON includes items, groups, and order, and may contain images and file paths. It excludes original files, preferences, and machine-specific access grants. Invalid or unsupported formats are rejected; file references may need to be selected again for access.
Yes. On the Language page, follow the system or choose one of 12 interface languages. This changes interface text without changing your content or other settings.
Yes. Select an item in the main window or quick panel and press ⌘C to put it on the clipboard, then press ⌘V yourself in the destination app. Text editing, existing text selections, and input-method composition retain native copy behavior. Dialogs and menus do not have their shortcuts intercepted.
